Berkshire County Arc is a non-profit, tax exempt, human services organization which offers a broad range of community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries. Berkshire County Arc programs are located throughout Berkshire and Hampden counties in Massachusetts.

  • Mass Council of Human Service Providers honors a BCARC residential supervisor, Dennis Radford, with the prestigious "Richard Bond Supervisor’s Award." and BCARC with the "Peer Provider Award."
  • BCARC held its Grand Opening of the Thomas Flynn, Jr. Community Apartments on August 14, 2007.
  • BCARC combined the Southgate and Day Habilitation programs at its recently renovated, former Hab Center in Pittsfield. This program is now called Crossroads.
  • In May 2007, BCARC opened Greylock, a new home in Lanesboro for four men with traumatic brain injuries.
  • Berkshire County Arc is in the process of applying for state funds to develop for four housing projects for residents with disabilities.
  • BCARC’s annual golf tournament raised $46,000. Pictures are available in the "gallery."
