Her respect, caring and genuine relationships serve to instill sensitivity in the staff. The creative and well-managed systems Nancy has developed ensure that needs and progress are tracked efficiently while the home continues to maintain a strong sense of "family". Nancy Ogoley is an inspiration and a positive asset to BCARC.

Bernice LaForest

    Bernice LaForest is an exceptional job coach who understands each individual's personality and learning style. She consistently assures that each individual succeeds in his/her personal goals. This often means rolling up her sleeves and demonstrating the proper way to wash dishes, scrub floors or stock shelves.
    Bernie is not only an employment trainer, she is also a friend and role model. She never forgets a birthday or special event, invites individuals to her home for dinner or holidays, and vol

unteers her time to take people to the Big E and BCARC dances. Bernie even accompanied a Community Advocate to Connecticut to take Walter Burkette to visit his stepmother.

During her seven years of service to BCARC, Bernice has gained the respect and admiration of individuals, employers, coworkers and supervisors.
