Hazel Yetz is this issue's VISIONS Spotlight Individual. Hazel has had a year of outstanding change and transition. She successfully moved into her new residence and began attending day program full-time at Social Development Center. Hazel actively participates in two different volunteer projects. She volunteers for Elder Services where she goes shopping for groceries for an elderly couple. She also loves to cook and has a goal based upon her talents in this area. She, along with one of her peers, make desserts and delivers them to St. Stephen's soup kitchen. Hazel takes great pride in her work. Another area of interest and ability for Hazel is singing. This year she has had the opportunity to participate in several events. She has become a member of the Happy-

Hearted Voices Choir and has performed with them at Berkshire Disability Pride Day and during the United Cerebral Palsy Telethon. Local singing notable Vickie True often asks Hazel to come up and accompany her in a performance. Hazel also really enjoys the Community Access to the Arts activities that occur throughout the year. She had a great time when she participated in the Community Access Annual Show in Stockbridge last summer. Hazel also has an interest in drawing and painting. Her sister Lisa has been kind enough to donate her time and talents to the Social Development Center by teaching a watercolor class for anyone who's interested.
