Valentine's Dance

On Thursday, February 14th, 2002, the residential team of Director Chris Melski and Community Advocate Theresa Smith organized a Valentine's Day dance to benefit the individuals they support.
Held at the GEAA, this event drew about 80 people including, staff, individuals and family members.
Everyone enjoyed the tasty buffet including chicken wings, pasta, a

vegetable platter, and meatballs. The food was delicious!
However, the music and dancing were the biggest hit of the evening.
David Johnson danced to every song and was the star of the evening!

Though Theresa Smith took the lead in organizing the dance, there were many other people who made the event possible. Kim Demary helped with set-up and the all-important job of cleaning up at the end of the evening. Centerpieces adorning each table were crafted by Mrs. Demary, Kim's mother. Dennis Demary was the handy man.
What party would be complete without party favors?
Amy Kwasniowski supplied those.
Overall, the evening was a huge success and raised money for special projects for the individuals  in Chris and Theresa's residences.
