     Jeffrey is also very proud of his most recent accomplishment: his confirmation at his church, Sacred Heart in Pittsfield. He also hopes to become more involved

with activities at his church.
     Tony, the house director, says that he is really only here to guide Kade and Jeffrey, saying "They are self-motivated." He also says there are a lot of misconceptions about people with head injuries. "As you can see, these men are active in their community and have adjusted to life in Pittsfield very well." 
     The successes that Jeffrey and Kade have had have encouraged BCARC to open another home for brain injured individuals in the near

future. By offering housing separate from rehabilitation centers to people with head injuries, Berkshire County Arc is offering them a real place of their own to expand their horizons and reach their full potential.
