     Along with her volunteering, she enjoys bowling with her husband Michael at the Candle Lanes, attending classes on Friday mornings at the Adult Learning Center to enhance her reading and writing skills, attending church suppers at St. Stephens Church, going on group outings, and having a great time at the arts and crafts classes.
    Grace has showed everyone around her that life is to

be lived fully and enjoyed. And that is just what she is doing. It is for this reason and many others that Grace Kuvent is this issue's spotlight individual.

Grace Kuvent

    Over the past year Grace "Gracie" Kuvent has been very active in her community, often volunteering at the Salvation Army during the holiday season. She also helps out at the self-advocacy dances held every

Deborah Copeland

     Deborah Copeland has been working as a housekeeper at Jiminy Peak Resort for the past thirteen years. She works Tuesday through Saturday for approximately 20 hours per week. Her duties include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning kitchen areas. Debbie loves her job at Jiminy Peak and is a valued, integral part of the housekeeping crew. Debbie's supervisor, Phyllis, says, "Debbie has worked with us for 13 years and has always given her best. Everyone who works

with her and around her enjoys her presence. We in the housekeeping department look forward to working with her for many more years."
     In addition, to her work at Jiminy Peak, Debbie is the secretary for the Berkshire Advocates, is an active member of the Workers Group and is a volunteer at the Berkshire Family Toy Library. It is for these reasons and more that Deborah Copeland has been chosen as the AEN spotlight individual of this issue.
