Marijane Hickey was a valued and loved employee of Berkshire County Arc for over three years in the agency's Human Resources Department. Marijane was not only an employee whose unmatched ambition and energy will no doubt be fondly remembered, but also a loving mother, wife, and friend. She was the type of person who literally was there in seconds when she was needed, whether it be in her work or personal life. Marijane somehow found the time to get the best out of life, while also touching the lives of many others. Marijane, know that our thoughts will always be with you, as yours were always with us. A tree has been planted in the yard of the BCARC office in memory of Marijane.

When you think of Julie Macchi, you can't help but smile. Julie had a wonderful sense of humor and was someone who really enjoyed living her life to the fullest. She enjoyed her jobs at Blue Q and Zip 'N Sort. She also loved spending time with her special friend Fran Cahalan, her many other friends, and her family. Julie also participated in the Special Olympics. She loved to listen to music, and to dance. She also was always happy to attend any trip that was offered to her, loved shopping, and keeping busy on the go! Everyone who knew Julie will surely miss her greatly, especially her hardy laugh and Big Smile.

Richard Collenburg will be remembered as a gentleman, and as someone who was very close to his family. Richard lived in Dalton with his sister for many years. He always carried pictures of his family with him, especially those of his nieces and nephews. Richard worked through AEN for about 10 years. He also worked at Polymatrix, the Methodist Church in Lenox, and the Dalton General Store. He later spent time at the Hab Center. He was also very good at connecting with people, especially those who were fellow Red Sox fans. Richard was interested in wrestling, and was a wonderful dancer. It is for these things and for his well-mannered personality that Richard will be remembered and greatly missed.
