  More than forty Individuals served by Berkshire County Arc have been or are currently taking courses offered by Community Access to the Arts (CATA), an organization which "uses the universal language of the arts to bring together artist, individuals from therapeutic settings and members of the community at large.  By facilitating shared experiences in the arts, CATA works to lessen the stigma of disability and embrace indviduals with special needs in the spirit of true community and celebration."
