I think it is important for individuals to go to events like this to represent the Berkshire County Arc agency. It is also a chance to show what people with disabilities can do. It is a great opportunity for people to learn more about issues that are related to us, and is a chance to show people who might think less of disabled people that we can do so many things.
If you have never gone to this event I would suggest that you make sure you go next year. You'll be glad that you did.

out as the Program Director of the Intermediate Care Facility, and then went on to become a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional, the Director of Training, and the Director of Mental Health Services. Deb also served on the board of the American Association of Mental Retardation.
Over the past two years Deb worked in Springfield as the Coordinator of Justice Management, and also ran two community programs in the Springfield area for D.Y.S.
Deb is very happy to be working with us , and to be living in the area again. She is also enjoying getting to know everyone here and going to visit all of the programs. Welcome to Berkshire County Arc Deb!

Deb Clemente, who is originally from Western Massachusetts, has just recently returned to the Berkshires to begin her position as the new Residential Coordinator at Berkshire County Arc.
The agency is very fortunate to have Deb, as she has endless years of experience working in human services. She worked for 15 years for Greater Lynn Mental Health and Retardation, where she started
