Berkshire County Arc Opens Third of Four TBI Houses in Richmond

ministered in a person's own home, but this method of providing care for people with disabilities also provides these people with an actual home to live in.  Just stepping inside of the house in Richmond makes you feel as though you are at home.
   The house has spacious rooms, including a living room that would make anyone want to stay and visit.  The program is both a residence and a place for services, but the people who are living there absolutely have the opportunity to feel like they are in a home of their own.  Each individual has their own room, with walls painted in the color of their choice. 
   As the Traumatic Brain Injury program continues to grow at Berkshire County Arc, the agency's services continue to grow as a whole.

Hoyt Baxter, a participant in the TBI program would much rather be at the Richmond program than in a nursing home.
