Berkshire County Arc's Social Development Center and Training Room will soon have a new home in Dalton. Located at 65 Depot Street, approximately three miles from the center's current location on Merrill Road, the new space will offer many improvements compared to the current building.
The programming at the present Social Development Center happens in two large, open-

spaced rooms. The new space will have four rooms for this program, including a sensory stimulation room, a room for the new gym equipment, and an office for directors, nursing and meetings. There are plans to have four bathrooms, two of which will be handicap accessible. There will also be plenty of closet space, something that is lacking at the current SDC.
