Maralyn Smith was one of the first individuals in Berkshire County to leave nursing home care and move into a shared living arrangement. Originally from Middlefield, Maralyn lived with her parents for most of her life. After her parents passed away, Maralyn found herself in need a family with whom she could share her life. Maralyn now makes her home with the Morgan family and has quickly found a place their hearts, because anyone who knows Maralyn knows that she loves to make peo

ple smile. In her leisure time, Maralyn likes to do art work, especially beading, and have afternoon tea. Because of her love of music, another favorite activity is a sing a long. As a participant in the Southgate day program, Maralyn brings many smiles every day.
