Berkshire County Arc - Celebrating 45 Years of Service and Achievement
"... Who would have thought that from a small group of concerned people BCARC would become what it is today."        Mrs. Eunice Manzolini
On June 3rd, more than 280 people attended a gala celebration marking the forty-fifth anniversary of Berkshire County Arc.
Agency individuals and friends, board members and employees, officers and dignitaries all shared the warmth and good feelings stirred by memories of 45 years of service to and partnership with the developmentally disabled.
Following a welcome from outgoing Board President Dr. Donald Fairbanks and an invocation by Reverend Geoffrey Deeker of Mount Carmel Church, the BCARC Board, in a brief business meeting, elected Dr. Mark Pettus as its next President.  (See Board Profile on pg 9).  Also elected were Carol Craighead, Vice President; Joseph Woitkowski, Secretary/Treasurer; Joyce Desgroseillers, Assistant Treasurer; and board members Debra Jarck, Kathy Clark, Steven Valenti, Lisa George and Dr. Thomas Egan .
