An under-publicized service that is provided to the community by some of the BCARC individuals are their volunteer efforts at Elder Services, Jacob's Pillow, Berkshire Medical Center, Blue
Skies and Rainbows, Lanesboro Fire Department, St. Stephen's Soup Kitchen, Berkshire Humane Society and Greylock Nursing Home. And these Organizations represent only a fraction of the

Both the Habitation Center and the Social Development Center do volunteer shopping through Elder service. Each week these volunteers make it possible for Elderly county residents to get their groceries without difficulty. Hazel Yetz, Tina Sturtevant and Tracy Demary carefully shop from their list.
Janet Howard proudly holds up a card she made for sick children through the "Make a Child Smile" organization.
At the Southgate Day program, the individuals participate in a center-wide project for Primitive Artisans. They shred papers at the center and those papers are used as packing materials for the artwork that Primitive Artisans sell. Matt Harrington (below) and Steven Wheeler (left) both shred paper with assistance from Mary Hoover.
Tom Moran and Diane Horbal have formed a great relationship with the woman they assist and look forward to seeing her.
