Berkshire County Arc individuals make this county a better place because they unselfishly give to their community.
Eric Koscielniak is a participant from the Habilitation Center and he has a very ambitious volunteer schedule. He delivers mail to the residents of the Greylock Nursing Home every Monday through Friday afternoon. The Nursing home often comments on how valuable his service is to them and that they don't know what they would do without him!
Chris Keenan was recognized by the agency with the Citizenship Award, given to individuals who had outstanding volunteer participation during the previous year.
The Center for Development has center-wide participation in their Volunteer Project at the Jacob's Pillow Dance Theater. The individuals do a terrific job stuffing the programs for the dance performances.

Social Development Center Volunteer Brunch
Late this Spring, the Social Development Center had a special brunch during volunteer recognition week to recognize the efforts of the center's participants. Each person received an award and a pin for the hard work they had done over the past year. Family and friends clapped and cheered as the volunteers received their awards.
