The Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers presented Connie Hubbel with the Direct Support Professional Award for 2003 this past May 27th at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The ADDP gives this award to one employee from each region who proves to be an exceptional Support Professional. Connie Hubbel was this year's honoree from the Western Massachusetts region. Her award was presented by Gerry Morrissey Jr., the Commissioner of the Department of Mental Retardation.
Connie has been working for Berkshire County Arc for eighteen years. She is the Director of the Respite House Program, and has helped more than fifty individuals with disabilities, in both temporary respite and emergency services in the past year. Connie is well
