AD LIB on North St. provides a drop-in community center for people with
disabilities. For six weeks this fall, people gathering at AD LIB created
works of art. On Monday, November 13, from 6-8 p.m., they showed off their
hard work with an art show. Exhibits included sponge painting, oil pastels,
Halloween masks, Holiday bulbs and garland, and painting kits. At first,
the instructor, Suzie, said people wandered in and maybe stayed for an
hour. However, these artists realized their full potential and couldn't
wait to create something from nothing. And that's really what they do here.
