Shared Living Program

Shared LivingAnother area of residential supports Berkshire County Arc is Provider Services (Shared Living). This matches an individual with a caregiver in the provider’s home, to meet their chosen lifestyles.  This has become beneficial to both individuals and providers.   Berkshire County Arc offers supports, training, and ongoing supervision to the provider to make this a successful partnership.

Would you like to share your life and home with an individual with an intellectual disability? If so, then our Shared Living Program could be for you! Duties include: providing transportation, assisting with medical appointments, meal preparation and incorporating the individual into your daily life. Providers also receive a tax-free stipend, respite, and ongoing training to ensure you have the resources to provide quality care.
