Our first evening meeting will take place on September 25. We had requests for an evening meeting so more people could attend without causing conflicts with a work schedule.

We are proud to present Karen Mowry as the inaugural speaker in our evening meeting series. Karen has been a professional educational advocate for more than 15 years. She is co-owner of Western Mass Educational Advocacy Services located in Ludlow.

Karen advocates for a variety of students ages 3-22 with a diagnosis of autism, ADD/ADHD, executive function disorders, social emotional disabilities, medical disabilities, dyslexia, speech and language disorders and communication impairments. Karen also participates in the planning process as students age out of school based special education services and advocates for children in the foster system as an educational surrogate parent and is a court appointed special advocate.

The Autism Collaborative of Berkshire County is a group of local autism service providers and agencies working together to educate, advocate and raise awareness of the services available in our community to families.
